Cordcutter's Guide to the 2018 Masters

One of the year’s biggest events in golf is right around the corner! The 2018 Masters Tournament officially begins April 5th and runs through April 8th. 87 of the best golfers in the world gather in Augusta, Georgia for their chance to wear the sought after green jacket. And luckily for cord cutters, you can watch all of the Masters without a pay TV subscription.

There are four total rounds in the tournament, with the first two rounds shown on ESPN and the last two broadcast on CBS. So between a digital antenna and a streaming service, you’ll have everything you need to get your golf fix. Here’s the full schedule for each round:

Tournament play from 3 pm to 7:30 pm on ESPN

Masters driving range show from 11 am to 1 pm on CBS Sports Network

Highlights show from 11:30 pm to 11:45 pm on CBS

 

Round Two Live Coverage – Friday, April 6

Tournament play from 3 pm to 7:30 pm on ESPN

Masters driving range show from 11 am to 1 pm on CBS Sports Network

Highlights show from 11:30 pm to 11:45 on CBS

 

Round Three Live Coverage – Saturday, April 7

Tournament play from 3 pm to 7 pm on CBS

Masters driving range show from 11 am to 1 pm on CBS Sports Network

 

Round Four Live Coverage – Sunday, April 8

Tournament play from 2 pm to 7 pm on CBS

Masters driving range show from 11 am to 1 pm on CBS Sports Network

 

Watch With an Antenna

Saturday and Sunday, CBS will broadcast Round 3 and 4 of official tournament play. So all you need to tune into the last two rounds is an HDTV antenna! You’ll also be able to catch highlights from each day on CBS with your antenna.

Stream the Masters

ESPN will show the tournament on Thursday and Friday. If you want to watch the first two rounds of live TV coverage, you’ll need a streaming service that includes ESPN. Some top choices are Sling Orange, PlayStation Vue, DirecTV Now, Hulu, and YouTube TV. Most streaming services offer a free trial for a limited time, so you may not even have to pay to watch the tournament!
