College Football Schedule for Cord Cutters: Sept. 15-17

Week 3 of college football is here. The best part is many of the top games this week are 100% free in HD with your antenna (with plenty of others available to stream)!

This year, more than 100 regular season college football games will be broadcast for free over the air. That does not even count the bowl games coming later this year. Unlike with streaming, the best part with over the air is that your TV feed is not delayed (no need to worry about spoilers on your phone as you watch the game or buffering).

Here is your cord cutting guide to the big games this weekend.

Free Over the Air College Football Games:

Saturday September 17th

  • #2 Florida State at #10 Louisville 12 Noon ET on ABC
  • #1 Alabama at #19 Ole Miss 3:30pm ET on CBS
  • #22 Oregon at Nebraska 3:30pm ET on ABC
  • #12 Michigan State at #18 Notre Dame 7:30pm ET on NBC
  • #3 Ohio State at #14 Oklahoma 7:30pm ET on FOX
  • USC vs #7 Stanford at 8pm ET on ABC

So far this year, 19 college football games have been free OTA.

Do you need an antenna or are you unsure of what over the air channels you can get? Check out Mohu’s channel finder and antenna recommendations. All you have to do is enter your zip code to find out what you could receive over the air.

I am a dedicated cord cutter who owns Cord Cutters News. My goal is to help as many people as possible break free of high monthly cable bills without losing access to all the content they want to watch.

I have had the opportunity to test out a ton of great cord cutting services and devices. Hopefully, from all my reviews, news, and how to’s someone has saved a lot of money. At the end of the day my goal is to see as many people as possible leave “cable” behind and find the freedom and savings cord cutting can give them.
