It\u2019s time again for the 2017 Tony Awards, our celebration for all that is great on Broadway over the past year. This year you can expect a phenomenal show hosted by Tony, Golden Globe, and Oscar-award winning actor, Kevin Spacey. If you\u2019re a person that watches award shows for the performances, the Tony\u2019s aren\u2019t about to let you down. This year you will see performances by Leslie Odom Jr. (“Hamilton”) and Cynthia Erivo (“The Color Purple”). You can also see performances by the cast of “Falsettos,” “Dear Evan Hansen,” “Bandstand,” “Hello, Dolly!,” “Miss Saigon,” “War Paint,” “Groundhog Day,” and more.<\/p>\n

The Tony Awards airs on CBS<\/a> on Sunday, June 11 starting at 8 p.m. ET<\/strong>. You don\u2019t need cable to watch the 2017 Tony Awards, which is great. That said, if you don\u2019t have cable, it\u2019s best to decide how you want to watch the Tony Awards in advance.<\/p>\n

Watch the 2017 Tony Awards with Your Antenna<\/h2>\n

CBS All Access<\/h3>\n

CBS All Access is available for $5.99\/month or $10\/month if you don\u2019t want commercials. This gives you live stream access in about 80% of the country. You also have on-demand access, so if you\u2019re not in a live stream area you can watch new shows within a few hours of airtime. You can watch on your TV and through a variety of streaming devices. A 7-day trial is available to new members.<\/p>\n

PlayStation Vue<\/h3>\n

PS Vue also offers CBS, though their cheapest package is $30\/month if you\u2019re in an on-demand location or $40\/month if you get local live stream channels. This package includes 45 other channels and the chance to add premium channels. A 5-day trial is available. It\u2019s also worth noting that while you can stream PS Vue on mobile devices, there are restrictions that block out at home usage.<\/p>\n

Streaming services are invaluable when you\u2019re looking for cable channels, but the best option you have to watch local channels is always, at least for the foreseeable future, going to be antennas.
