Now before you run off and mark your calendars, here are a few Charlie Brown Fun Facts to get you in the holiday spirit:

  1. Charles Schultz invented the Christmas TV Special. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” was the FIRST 30-minute TV Christmas special and all others that have followed were inspired by this. INCLUDING “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “Frosty the Snowman”.
  2. Charlie Brown is NOT bald. Charlie Brown’s hair was actually so light and cut so short that it could not be seen very easily.
  3. Charlie Brown never kicked the football. After years of attempts and tricks, poor Charlie Brown never even got to kick the football.
  4. Charles Schultz won FIVE Emmy’s for his Charlie Brown TV specials, including “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. And that’s why it has become such a massive family tradition to watch these fun and heartwarming family specials every year.
